requested reviews on elf products =)

ok this review is on items requested by some lovely ladies =) (there is still more to come so please be patient)

Facial Whip in pink lemonade(eyeslipsface.co.uk - £1.50)

What eyeslipsface.co.uk has to say about it:
Multipurpose, on-the-go whipped colorant is vitamin B, C and E packed to instantly brighten and soothe skin with no greasy after-feel

my comments:
ok i LOVE this product... it kinda reminds me of benefit's high beam but is much easier to blend. it has a nice consistency not too thick yet not too runny - just right =) it blends really nicely and you can wear it in many ways i really like it on my eyes but i find that you have to use eye primer first and be very spareing otherwise it will crease! i have a very fair complexion and this as a blush looks so nice it gives a very light baby pink blush look which i have found hard to find or if you lightly dab it then it can be used as a highlighter but i much prefer spotlight to use as a highlighter. ok now the website says it can be used as a lip product but for me i find it far to dry even when using a lip balm first then a gloss on top although the colour looks lovely it makes your lips dry and cracked - not a good look!!! i love all things pink and this is definitely a fab product and will be in my collection for years to come. 1 thing though i think this product more suits the lighter skin tone rather than the darker this includes hair although some people may be able to pull the look off =)

studio concealer in ivory (eyeslipsface.co.uk - £3.50):

what eyeslipsface has to say about it:
Conceal acne spots, discoloration, under-eye darkness or any other place desired with this twist up concealer. The creamy lightweight texture blends evenly for a natural full coverage that lasts. Convenient for fast and effortless makeup touchups.

my comments:
i brought this as a under eye concealer as it is supposed to give maximum coverage.... do i like it? - well im not sure. it kinda compares to my rimmel hide the blemish stick but would i say it was better... probably not. dont get me wrong the coverage on it is brilliant i just find it rather hard to blend especially under the eyes! its really think and sorta drags across rather than gliding but if you was to warm this product first then i dont think you would have a problem with it. now as for shades i always get ivory as a concealer colour as it is normally the lightest but this seems darker than your normal ivory shade =S does it last.... i have to say not really - after about 3 hours it had caked and creased under my eyes and did not look good but it was a hot day so maybe that contributed to it but it really did look nice when first applied =)

now these two im grouping together: the therapeutic conditioning lip balm in strawberry creme and the eyeliner in stardust because these to products are amazing i love them!!! (i will post pictures later of my eye look that i created) i used to have this little pot of strawberry smelling lip balm that i adored but after a while it got old and gunky and i lost it =( i could never find anything like it until now =) boy im a happy bunny!! this will always be in my handbag from now on. to describe it ermmm its like not glossy but it allows your lips to glide between each other and makes them smooth and velvety its not very coloured i would say very sheer it gives your lips that moist look and as for smell ahhhh i could eat it thats how nice it is!! and it lasts for ages even through me eating and drinking :) eyelinerrrrrr..... where to start i was a bit apprehensive at first - it looks really glittery and i kinda didnt expect that but im so glad i ordered it. it goes on so easily and stays - practically smudge proof although i rubbed my eye really hard (forgot i had make-up on) and it smudged a bit but not much. it goes very well with light colours and is perfect for an evening out - it has that iridescent look to it and it dries really nicely normally i find eyeliners dry kinda gluely but this one when it dries just leaves the glitter its asif it wasnt an eyeliner more just like glitter - me likes =D (looks very nice as flicks at the end of your eyes) - i would highly recommend =)

its very late and i am tired so i will add more to this later =)

rimmel hide the blemish concealer

Ok this was recommended to me by a good friend and at first i was a bit unsure as i don't really like concealer sticks as i find them harsh on the skin but this one is not... i use it on my dark under eye circles and it actually works - i can leave the house without looking like a panda... although it doesnt really bother me, since having my little girl looking good isn't my number one priority but since shes started sleeping through the night and i am getting more sleep i really want to start making an effort!! for everyone that knows me i really dont like that *just woke up tramp look" that i sometimes have lool but hey back to the review!!!

its a creamy formula which is best applied with fingers then blended with an applicator (well thats what works best for me!) it can be used on blemishes and they disappear and on under eye circles for that fresh glowing look =) i normally apply this under my eyes and then apply elf studio line under eye concealer & highlighter (the highlighter part by the way) towards the edge of my eye and it seems to really light up my face.

rimmel hide the blemish concealer costs around £4ish and is available from most drugstores
elf studio line under eye concealer & highlighter costs £3.50 from eyeslipsface.co.uk
